“With a family of 4, we stayed for 2 nights at The House, which is about 100m up the road from the main building of the motor lodge. Overall we had a great stay, very clean and comfortable. You can hear a bit of traffic noise, we were able to walk into the town centre to restaurants and bars. ”

Good food and local wines in restaurant. Couple of minutes drive to town centre. Cons: Was overpriced unless you’re a golfer or lover of history. Checking in was confusing and involved a bit of to and fro in the complex, especially when desk is unattended. ”
