This was our second time visiting JOIA and it was an excellent stay like the first time, which is why we returned. We had a minor inconvenience on our third day but one of the managers Mariana went above and beyond to rectify the situation. Leaking ceiling, pieces of ceiling was falling due to the heavily present leak, half the outlets don’t work, housekeeping comes at odd hours or doesn’t come at all, pools were freezing Otherwise beautiful rooms and hotel. The three restaurants are wonderful and Camilla at Zima Rooftop is spectacular. Breakfast buffet was great, totally worth to get the breakfast included. Room service food is not good.

The staff was very attentive. The pools were amazing. We really enjoyed the food and drinks at the hotel. The location is perfect. It is right across the road from the beach. There are a lot of great restaurants within walking distance and at the hotel. We will definitely stay there again!

The entire resort and our room were spotless. We especially loved the breakfast, delicious tropical drinks, and nachos on the beach. We never had any trouble getting loungers at the pool or beach. Perfect getaway! One note: there is not an ATM on the property and most of the taxis only take cash, so be prepared!

New to the Island and overall I cannot say enough wonderful things! Staff and cuisine A++. They had some things to fix bathroom doors askew/out of square, toilet paper holders off the walls, check in was awful!!!!, touch up paint on all doors. Overall I loved our stay. Go see Francys at Marea, Camilo and Luis at the pool bar, and Diana at Zima- they made it all worth it!
