“We stayed at the Shoals for 3 nights. Something I didn't realize was that there are no rooms directly facing the water - all rooms look out to the parking lot. The property and rooms were very clean and very well maintained, however many things were lacking. 1.) MAJOR concern: We asked for a pack n play for our baby and they brought up a mattress with it. “Our room was huge and had everything we needed, including a couch and a small dining table. The inn is centrally located with several cute shops and restaurants within walking distance. The staff was extremely helpful. Our heat went out while we were there. They came right in and tried to fix it. Just in case, they left us a space heater. We did wind up having to use the space heater, but the cold room just made for better snuggling. I have no complaints and will stay here again.”

“They claimed it was a renewed hotel, it was older than before when it was called Baron Cove. Old rooms, old showers, I tried taking a shower then bathtub wasn’t passing the water down, the bathtub got filled up quickly with water. The pool looked tired, the service at the pool was horrible, staff didn’t know the menu. Disaster. So sad for this hotel as it was a classic back in the day.”
