"We spent two nights at Podere Sette Piagge and left wishing we’d booked a third. This charming agriturismo sits just below Orvieto’s famous tufa cliff, close enough to the historic center that you feel connected to the town, but far enough removed to enjoy genuine peace and quiet. The property itself is lovely — a late 19th-century farmhouse surrounded by chestnut trees, an orchard, and a beautifully kept garden. The pool area was a perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring, and the grounds give the whole stay a relaxed, unhurried feel. We had dinner on-site and it was absolutely outstanding — the kind of meal that reminds you why you travel to Italy in the first place. Course after course of beautifully prepared food, generous to a fault. We came to the table hungry and left barely able to move, in the best possible way. Do not skip dinner here. The room was comfortable, spotlessly clean, and furnished with rustic character. WiFi was reliable, air conditioning worked well, and the bathroom was spacious. If you’re looking for an authentic Umbrian agriturismo experience with real heart — and serious food — Podere Sette Piagge is the real thing. We’ll be back."
