Overall very nice. Friendly, helpful staff. Only complaint is there was a used towel left in the bathroom. Not too bad of a walk to the bigger stores, but otherwise not much close to the hotel.

Excellent hotel in Shinsaibashi

The Ark hotel is less than 30 metres from Osaka metro Nagahoribashi entry gate 3 and within walking distance of Dotonbori. We found the room comfortable and service extremely good. The breakfast was great too. I would stay here again.

We loved staying at this hotel for our Osaka/Kyoto trip. One of the best places we have stayed during our trip. It’s clean, staff are helpful, the room is so clean, and even the bathroom is clean and technologically advanced. It’s hard to get out of the shower because it feels so good to take shower. We loved it so much. If I ever visit Osaka again, I will return to this place.

Situated a 3 min walk from a station so very convenient for getting around. The staff was very friendly and patient, and even lent us a plate when we needed to microwave some leftovers. Definitely recommend!

Staff were lovely and very helpful. Overall a great location. If you are not a smoker, be sure to select a non smoking room as the smell is very strong. Also be aware that there is no option other than buckwheat pillows.

The hotel location is excellent next to multiple metro subway stations. The facility is old and there is not enough seating areas in the lobby which I rarely see from hotels in Japan. This was the second time I put up here. I was offered a large room so I was happy with. The breakfast was fine. Overall it uses its location for business. Staff are friendly.

Clean room, standard sized for a Japanese business hotel, standard amenities. However, the absolute standout- location. This hotel is perfectly located to go out in Osaka, with a ton of interesting things to do within walkable distance, and a metro station directly underneath for easy access to further locations. The laundry facilities are thoroughly underwhelming, with two washers and two dryers for the entire hotel, but there is a 24/7 laundromat around the corner (3 minute walk) that was easy to use instead.
