Great hotel. Great location in Shinsaibashi area. Very convenient. Room is not big but comfortable. Toilet and shower in separate rooms with lavatory inside the room…strange arrangement but works if you are a couple. Skype is lovely with separate male and female onsen.

We had to pay a ¥4800 foreigners tax upon arrival, which we didn’t encounter in other hotels we stayed in. The room was nice and spacious, however the cleaning staff tossed my pjs carelessly during cleaning and threw away a luxury shopping bag (albeit empty shouldn’t be thrown without permission). The public onsen had a nice view of Osaka, which was relaxing. It would be nice if towels were available within the onsen area, along with the towels provided in the hotel.

Candeo Shinsaibashi has the best location if you want Dotonbori/Shinsaibashi area. The hotel was also clean and neat and the rooms were not too small. Great value for money hotel with all the amenities that you would want and need for this price point. I would happily come back again.

Booked a standard king. The room was tiny for two people, but otherwise perfect! Everything was very clean and lovely. Staff was amazing! We would definitely stay here again, but upgrade to a larger room next time.
