We stayed only for one night and had a restorative sleep there. The staff was very welcoming. Room was clean, bedding nice. Good location close to the metro. Only downside were the fact that the baths are men-only (which I hadn't understood from the descriptions), and the hotel is overall old-looking in style (room a bit crowded with dark wood furniture).

Hotel Claiton is located in an area where there a many convenient stores. But it is next to the train rails and can be noisy. The rooms are very small and old. The mattresses and pillows are hard and flat. Sadly, the onsen is only for men, which is not stated on their site. So I was very annoyed about that. The hotel is cheap, but it's obvious why.. I will say on the day we checked out, there were two very helpful women desk clerks who helped us get taxi's to out next location. We have 7 pieces of luggage, so we had to take two taxi's. They were very helpful with that.

Great hotel for the price! The staff are all very friendly, very clean, the onsen included is very relaxing especially after a long day of sightseeing. Very short walk to the shin-osaka station and Midosuji line with lots of conbini nearby
