All was well Upon my arrival the receptionist demanded a $100 deposit I reminded the receptionist I had a pre paid stay they demanded the deposit said it would be returned upon my check out, we'll that didn't happen said we will release the deposit and you should get it in 7 to 10 business days at this time I am getting very upset. I felt used not a good experience. I learned my lesson and will never pre-pay again.

2/10 Terrible

Disliked: Cleanliness
It was the most filthy room I have ever been in.The beds were old and dilapidated. The club chair was filthy from dirty greasy hands rubbing on the material .The carpet was worn and marked with permanent dirt ground on.And the most disgusting of all was the toilet , It had chunks of human excrement under the rim of the toilet.Fir a hotel that has a big name,I guess they call it the Express Hotel for a reason .You want to catch the express train plane or automobile and run from this hotel.

We were pleased with the cleanliness and the staff were all very helpful. We were glad of the underground parking as the area of town is not the best. Breakfast included hot food which is always good! I would recommend fixing the noisy air conditioner and the bed mattress was too stiff and creaky.

Very much enjoyed our stay at Holiday Inn Express Oshawa. The hotel was clean, and well maintained, and our room was very comfortable. The staff were friendly, and always ready to provide any assistance necessary. A special thank you to Hailey, at the front desk, who checked regularly whether we were enjoying our stay, and offered any information or assistance we required. The complimentary breakfast was very good, and provided sufficient variety to meet all tastes. While regular coffee and teas were available throughout the day, I do wish that decaffeinated coffee was provided later in the day. Perhaps consider packets. The pool was not very large, but many guests seem to enjoy it. The housekeeping staff was friendly and accommodating, but I do wish they would endeavour to finish rooms of guests staying longer than a day, by 1:00 pm. The one drawback to the location is that there isn’t much to do in the immediate vicinity. For those without a vehicle this could be an issue. Otherwise the hotel met all our needs, and we would happily book again.
