“Room was dirty and stained throughout. The cupboard in our room had a large pile of dirty towels that had been thrown in there wet, and dried in a pile, as well as belongings from past guests piled up. Bedding was stained throughout. No soap at handbasin. Shower gel and shampoo in shower was about a third full and very watery. Fridge wasn't working throughout stay.”

“Great Value for money ,lovely clean rooms etc”

“Room was refurbished on the inside but the fit and finish was sub par - to the point where security was a concern for me. Most concerning was the flimsy thin ply patched over the main entrance door. The door between the lounge and bedroom wouldn’t shut due to bad fit / installation. Big gaps between the external sliding door and wall create drafts for wind and extra outside noise”

“Last minute 2 night booking due to diverted flight. Close to airport. Ubered due to late arrival $27 / early departure $41.”

“Love this place. Feels like stepping back in time but with modern comfort. Bed was super comfy, room was spacious. Staff were lovely. Bathroom and room was clean. Short walk to train station. Won't hesitate to book again”

“I come to NZ monthly for work. I usually stayed in City Centre, but had to stay near the airport because I was on a tight schedule. Knowing that I would be exhausted from the trip and work, I wanted to just relax in my room. I checked in late after 10 pm and as soon as I got in the room, kids were running around in the hallway. There was a family with kids staying right in front of my room, and a couple of other families nearby. I think it was a family/friends trip cause it was like a back and...

“This new place is a welcome discovery, perfectly positioned just a hundred metres or so from the Newmarket Train Station (direct CRL into the city) and also the Newmarket shopping district with Westfield, cafés etc. The rooms are very nicely appointed, the bed linen of excellent quality and the general ambience very pleasant. It presents excellent value in comparison to many other options - we will definitely we staying here again.”
