hotel correct

Très correct à part le service en chambre catastrophique. Appler 2 fois et recevoir après 45mn un coca. Aucun cintre dans la chambre, appeler 4 fois, puis se déplacer pour les avoir au final au bout de 4 heures. Pour un service repas en chambre prévoir près d'une heure. A ne pas utiliser pour un encas express. Impossibilité de recevoir de ma chambre, le wifi sur le lit. Il fallait mettre l'ordi sur le pied du lit pour l'ordinateur, et coller le téléphone à la porte pour Watsapp Autrement chambre propre. Personnel agréable. Très silencieux malgré la vue sur un des boulevards les plus passant. On entend rien.

Hôtel bien situé et propre

Le Splendid hôtel est un hôtel un peu vieillissant mais tout y est, confortable, service, navette aéroport, wi-fi, room service, pressing etc. La douche est un peu petite (impossible de se laver à deux). Il s'agit plus d'un bon 2 ou 3 étoiles que d'un 4 étoiles mais la situation plein centre est parfaite, avec un petit maquis sympa avec bonne ambiance juste en face. Boîtes de nuits et tous services (banques, restaurants, etc) à proximité. Aéroport à 5 min. Pour un séjour tourisme ou professionnel à Ouagadougou, je conseille vivement cet hôtel qui a un bon rapport qualité-coût-emplacement pour Ouaga, à moins de souhaiter un vrai 4 ou 5 étoiles luxe, plus cher mais souvent plus excentré...

J ai toujours du mal quand la patronne ou petite chez hurle comme un ours apres des ouvriers qui on refait le plafond....ou un employé qui se fait incendié pour déplacer une table. ....que des clients soit la ou pas.... j ai horreur de ca... ....

Du aux attentats à l'hotel splendid, j'ai plutôt séjourné à l'hotel Laico Ouaga 2000 et j'ai été très satisfait du séjour.

Det finns 2 delar av hotellet. Vi (3 enkelrum) placerades första natten i Splendid 1 fast vi betalat för Splendid 2. Andra dagen fick vi byta rum. P g a flyg på kvällen bokade vi en halv dag till i 2 av rummen. Halv dag sträckte sig förr fram till kl 20, nu hade det ändrats till kl 17. Att betala halvt pris för extra 5 timmar är oskäligt. Vi skulle heller inte få någon reduktion för den första natten. Först efter långt samtal med ägaren fick vi betala halv dag extra endast för ett rum (av 2) och behålla de 2 rummen till kl 18. Tråkigt att personalen inte kan fatta egna beslut utan måste ringa till ägaren. Trots 11 dgr på hotellet och generellt bra frukost, fanns aldrig osockrad yoghurt trots att vi efterfrågat detta från första dagen.

Bättre hotell finns

Hotellet har blivit mycket sämre än när jag var där sist. Snorkig reception, många saker som inte fungerar som t.ex. dörr som inte gick att stänga till duschen, en toalett som rinner hela tiden, ingen propp som gick att stänga i handfatet. Dessutom har Expedia fel uppgifter om hotellet. Skillnad i rumspriser beror på om man bokar i Splendid I eller Splendid II. Omfattar inte middag som Expedia uppger! Placerades i Splendid I första natten trots att jag betalt för Splendid II. Vattnet rann ut från duschen i hela badrummet och in i rummet.

central hotel - usual price range

friendly and helpful staff. room clean and comfortable. breakfast -excellent fruit platters which was all i required. pool small but clean and often i was only swimmer

Acceptable hotel, immature staff

Staff don't seem to take their job seriously, resent giving out information on the phone or having to help you with basics like getting change for a taxi. Hotel wifi creaks to a halt during daylight hours, becomes unusable.

The hotel offers little for the price. Room is air conditioned and reasonably comfortable. Cleanliness acceptable by local standards, but found a roach in the room. Pool is dirty. Breakfast is unappealing.

Splendid is strong on all the basics - clean functional room with good desk set-up for work; excellent wireless internet connection; comfortable bed, good shower head with lots of hot water; decent restaurant; and very close to the airport. Transport to and from the airport is free. For all these reasons Splendid is a good place to stay for travelers who are in Ougadougou to work.
