“The room was clean and comfortable. I upgraded to an en-suite room, which made all the difference. The breakfast was great, though there is no longer on-site parking. There is a free carpark about 5 minutes walk away, cheaper pay-and-display parking round the corner and more expensive pay-and-display parking on the road outside.”

“It was all good- with micro and mini fridge would be a good place for people making base to explore the region. We got charged extra $20 for something after our stay- not sure what that was for. Only complaint really. ”

“Our stay was excellent in every way! The room was spacious and clean, the shower was very good with excellent temperature and pressure. The food was crazy good, the fish tacos were incredibly flavourful as was all the food. The hotel location was right for us being central to some nice hikes and scenery.”

“Beautiful cottage, we were here during Darragh but it was warm and comfortable . Only thing I would say is if you don’t know how to light a peat fire research it , lol we had Donagle family to show us the way. But it was wonderful staying here, you can’t go wrong especially if you have a large group with all the bedrooms. I would definitely stay here again ”

“My only complaint is we asked the bartender to make a simple gin martini and he said sure, and he had to go get somebody else to make it and it was absolutely terrible, I couldn’t even drink it.”

“WARNING! Don’t book this hostel!! As Chris mentions it has run out of business and is closed down, but still takes the payments and sends a confirmation email like nothing. I unfortunately booked it before Chris’ experience.. trying to get hotels.com to remove this hostel! ”
