"The property was close to the park entrance, easy to come and go. Low maintenance no checkin and checkout. Key in the door when we arrived. Small heater for the room and it rained the two nights we were there. So we needed the heater. Basic fruit, granola bars and yogurt for breakfast. We didn’t spend much time in the room as we were out in the park. A little difficult to find but great little spot"

"We loved our 7-night stay at Hilltop vacation rental! We had the economy room with a view of the ocean and it was very cool to wake up to the sun rising. The room was clean, there was a shower and bathroom and all of the necessary essentials for our stay—coffee maker, small fridge, etc…The parking was a bit tight, but our rental Jeep fit into the parking spots! It was a quiet and peaceful stay. Would definitely recommend! "

"I loved the night time action hearing all the wildlife it was amazing. Having the bathroom outside was awkward but was trying new things and the second night i wanted a hot shower and it was nothing but cold water...my husband and I are plumbers and we take a look at the water heater and it wasnt staying lit...so we didnt even get to have a shower after sweating all day and going to the beach...pretty place but they need to take the money from the extra days i didnt stay there and possibly fix...

"Hands-down the best place we stayed during our 2.5 week trip to Hawaii! Barry and Jim were wonderful hosts, we were greeted by Barry as soon as we arrived! He helped get us settled in and showed us around the cabin. The cabin comes stocked with breakfast items, coffee, and fresh fruits! It is located close to Volcanos National Park, so it was perfect for my husband and I since we love hiking! The cabin was spotless and the bed was very comfortable! "Every detail has been thought of! The room was beautiful, spacious, comfortable, and had everything you could need!! You really feel like you have your own private jungle bungalow. Slept like a rock in the comfy bed and the rain on the roof! Eric and Chris were SO great, wish we had more time to chat with them. next time :) It's super close to the park.
