Pessima struttura
Una volta giunti alla struttura, ci hanno informato di un problema nella nostra stanza e ci hanno proposto un'altra sistemazione presso un diverso edificio. Questo secondo alloggio si trovava al piano terra, ma purtroppo presentava un forte odore sgradevole e scarsa ventilazione. Dopo aver espresso alcune lamentele, ci hanno offerto un'altra alternativa al primo piano, che, seppur leggermente migliore, continuava a soffrire di problemi di odore e aveva anche il lavandino del bagno otturato. Leggendo le recensioni di altri ospiti, abbiamo notato che questa pratica di cambiare sistemazione è un evento frequente in questa struttura.

Si è vero che c'era scritto su hotels.com che era al terzo piano senza ascensore ma non era scritto che lo scarico del bagno non funzionava in maniera corretta che i lavandini moderni erano solo appoggiati e non fissati alla mensola che si sentiva una leggera puzza di fogna che forse era meglio togliere qualche quadro e mettere uno specchio togliere qualche mobile malandato e sistemare il terzo letto in maniera diversa buona la mega tv e le luci colorate a intermittenza per i lussuriosi per la colazione: considerato che a due passi hai una delle migliori pasticcerie di palermo visitata da turisti che provengono da ogni dove, dici all'assistente che si occupa delle colazioni di passare in pasticceria e prendere una decina di cornetti, è inutile affollare il tavolo e le mensole della sala con prodotti da discount di bassa qualità, stesso discorso vale per il pane, è inutile usare e tostare quello insapore del supermercato quando palermo abbonda di ottimi panifici la posizione è buona nonostante che quando arrivi con il taxi anche il conducente ti fa: " eh con tutti i bb del centro ... " alla fine basta aprire la finestra per accorgerti che sei dietro palazzo ducale e con due passi sei in pieno centro finale, nel complesso è andata bene con qualche accorgimento può andare meglio

Proprietario davvero gentilissimo ma struttura troppo fatiscente, mi dispiace perché la posizione è ottima, con un po’ di manutenzione in più sarebbe davvero un’ottima soluzione

Marco una persona stupenda, sempre disponibile. La struttura è un palazzone antico con i suoi limiti, ovviamente. I proprietari stanno ristrutturando un po alla volta ,rendendolo in stile medioevale. Molto particolare. La pulizia buona. Letti comodi. Servizio colazione servito in terrazzo. Prezzo giusto.

Hotel molto particolare
Bellissimo e particolarissimo hotel arredato all'interno di un appartamento con temi tutti legati ai Cavalieri della Tavola Rotonda. La camera è piccola ma confortevole, con un letto grande, un bagno pulito e anche un piccolo scrittoio d'appoggio. Molto carina la colazione inclusa sul terrazzo, peccato però che inizi troppo tardi (8.30) e che in due giorni ho trovato qualche incosistenza nel modo in cui veniva servita. L'hotel è appena fuori dal centro storico, che si raggiunge in pochi minuti a piedi. Si può raggiungere anche via treno, la stazione è a 10 minuti di cammino, anche se è un po' difficile localizzarlo.

Parto dal dire che il proprietario si è dimostrato gentilissimo e molto premuroso pur senza vederci di persona. Della colazione non posso parlarne non avendola fatta ma dell'ambiente e della pulizia si e devo dire che si possono migliorare. La scelta dello stile è di assoluta libertà del proprietario ma una volta deciso che taglio dare, metterci un po' di qualità nell'arredo al posto dell'armadietto Ikea e dei finti stracci al muro si poteva fare. La pulizia da migliorare, gli asciugamani puzzavano di sporco prima di essere usati e in bagno avevo la compagnia di un paio di blatte. Peccato veramente dare un voto non positivo ad una persona così cortese e disponibile

Nice quiet hotel on the edge of the old town. Just off the beaten track. Breakfast was typical Italian coffee n choice of light snacks.

Una piacevole sorpresa a due passi dal centro
Prima le note negative: è situato in un palazzo senza ascensore e all'ultimo piano, pertanto non è possibile soggiornarvi per portatori di handicap in carrozzina. Comunque il proprietario è molto disponibile ad aiutare a portare le valigie. Eccetto questo il B&B è valido: è a 500 metri da Porta Nuova, ossia in una zona centrale con il vantaggio di non essere nella confusione, a 10 minuti a piedi dalla stazione ferroviaria di Palermo Orleans, vicino alla sede storica della pasticceria Cappello, una tra le più rinomate di Palermo. La stanza che mi è stata data era molto grande ed il bagno addirittura con 2 lavandini, quindi ampio anch'esso. Piccolo problema alla doccia, ormai vecchia, ma stanno ristrutturando un po' per volta i bagni di tutte le camere, e quindi sarà risolto a breve. La colazione è servita sulla terrazza che prevede anche una zona relax dove si vede la cupola della cattedrale e il palazzo dei Normanni. A proposito della colazione: il cornetto che danno è molto buono. Il ragazzo che serve la colazione è anch'egli molto disponibile. Risultato: sicuramente un ottima sistemazione con un buon rapporto qualità/costo. Consigliato

B&B rapport qualité prix imbattable !
Vous voulez visiter Palerme, réservez a Camelot B&B. Rapport qualité prix imbattable. Accueil bienveillant malgré une arrivée tardive. Chambre fonctionnelle située a 10mn du quartier historique et a 15mn de la station de train plazza réale Orléans ligne directe vers l'aéroport. Petit dej servi sur une terrasse avec un point de vue époustouflante et toujours cet accueil chaleureux et serviable. Donc je vous le recommande très fortement.

Sorry, this is a review from a trip I took a few years ago. The hotel and staff was wonderful and so helpful. Room was great size for me, and the air conditioning was a much needed reprieve from the heat of Palermo! Only issues were the noise in the neighbourhood at nights (especially Saturday's where the neighbourhood sings) and lack of a breakfast on Sunday morning? The neighbourhood itself has it's own uniqueness... I found a lovely restaurant near by where I had dinner most nights, because I didn't want to venture out so much the heat (that I am not used to). I have to say the staff went above and beyond for me and I don't know how I can thank them. At the end of my trip they dropped to the airport, but I missed my flight(not a fan of Palermo airport or the staff and lack of customer service), I texted the hotel and they arrived as quick as they could. Not only did they pick me up, but they were able to find me accommodation for the night (as they were fully booked) and picked me up to take me back to the airport the next morning for an early flight. I didn't get their names unfortunately, but I am so grateful for them being so kind to me. It was the hottest days and I was stressed out and upset about the flight, and although I do not speak Italian, and they did not speak English, we used google translate and they were very helpful and reassuring. They were a few of the angels in Palermo - thank you, thank you!

Un rapport qualite/prix excellent. Une déco atypique moyen-ageuse. Chambre bien équipée avec balcon et terrasse a l'étage avec vue imprenable sur montagne et monuments du vieux Palerme. Toujours par rapport au tarif chambre vaste climatisée avec mobilier fonctionnel. N'hésitez pas à appeler le numéro de téléphone à votre arrivée. Vous serez accueillis avec le sourire ! Clever decor yet...
Never stayed at a place that occupies the top floors of a multi-story building before. The proprietor is helpful and works hard, doing his best to make one’s stay pleasant. But clever themed decor cannot disguise water-stained ceilings, nor can assistance with luggage overcome the many flights of stairs (no lift). It’s hard for an non-resident to judge neighborhoods in a strange town, but I breathed a sigh of relief when I closed the door into the stairway when returning after dark (because a train was late).

Hi we are sorry but maybe you are making some mistakes First of al the water stains are not as you said because those are JUST paintings in the ceiling because as you noticed of course this is a camelot- themed b&b than it isn’t water at all. Secondly we helped you taking your luggage up till your room. Thirdly we are Sorry but this is the historical center i mean that if you take a room in any b&b near the centre you can’t expect to see an elegant style but an ancient one JUST like all the historical center is.next time take a room to a place far from the center and you will see the difference. What really important is that the room Was very clean and that the place was safe and friendly as you saw. Best regards bye

dies ist kein hotel sondern ein einfaches Wohnhaus was kein 4 sterne hotel ist. es wurden einzelne Wohnungen für Gäste in hotelzimmer umgewandelt die nur durch eine minimale funktionierende Klimaanlage beheitzt werden konnte (15 grad durchschnittstemperatur) sodas ich erkrankt nach hause fahren mußte; heizung nicht vorhanden beim gebuchten frühstück kam man sich vor als wenn man dem inhaber seinen Kühlschrank leer ißt und ab dem 1.1.19 gab es keines mehr ( umstieg auf selbstverpflegung) preis / leistung nicht entsprechend da während unseres aufenthaltes weiter umgebaut wurde ( täglicher Baustellenlärm außer am 1.1.19)

A delightfully quirky B&B
Provided you don't mind going up 3 flights of stairs with no lift, this is a very nice B&B. The whole place is decorated in keeping with the "Camelot" theme, and the effect is quaint and delightful. The room was spacious and exactly what we needed for coming and going during our 3 night stay. Overall the staff were friendly and welcoming (including helpful sightseeing tips). The guy responsible for getting breakfast needed nudging out of bed to do the job, but the meal was fine and the setting, as mentioned earlier, a bit like eating at Arthur's round table. The surrounding streets were - like a lot of Palermo - filthy, but this B&B was an oasis of cleanliness. We found the price quite reasonable.

I had a lovely stay here. I loved sitting on the roof terrace when I got back from a days exploring. The staff were fantastic and I felt very much at home. Met some lovely guests there. A fantastic coffee and cake shop just round the corner.

Bijzonder en merkwaardig
Camelot is een "logies met ontbijt" met 4 kamers. Het bijzondere is dat er allerlei grappige verwijzingen zijn naar de Engelse legende van koning Arthur. Alles wordt beheerd door de baas (koning Arthur) en zijn dochter, beide zeer behulpzaam. Onze kamer was royaal, had een goede badkamer en een balkonnetje met ruim uitzicht op een wat vervallen maar wel heel prototypische wijk van Palermo. De wat vervallen staat van de buurt was in schril contrast met de prachtige marmeren trappen in het trappenhuis en de mooi bewerkte plafonds. Het ontbijt was voor Italiaanse begrippen goed en uitgebreid. Wij bleven een week maar het (prima) bed werd niet opgemaakt of de kamer werd tussentijds niet schoongemaakt. Maar dat was het enige minpuntje. Misschien was er nog een tweede minpunt. Om de B&B te bereiken moet je naar de vierde verdieping en dat waren nogal wat treden. Voor een ouder echtpaar - zoals wij - was dat elke keer een hele onderneming. Al met al hebben we het daar toch een heel prettig verblijf gehad.

Hôtel sympathique, personnel accueillant nous avons passé une bonne semaine , chambre équipée de la clim. Cependant petit déjeuner décevant tout est industriel , nous avons donc pris notre petit dej 3 fois à l'extérieur pour goûter les spécialités italiennes. Second point la chambre n'a pas été nettoyer durant toute la semaine.

Appena arrivati, siamo rimasti perplessi del fatto che il b&b si trovasse al terzo piano senza ascensore di uno storico edificio del centro di Palermo. In ogni caso,le camere erano confortevoli ed il titolare che ci ha accolto e seguito nei giorni seguenti estremamente cortese e disponibile a fornire informazioni. La colazione, rigorosamente dolce all'italiana, era sufficiente. Nel complesso, per l'importo pagato, possiamo ritenerci soddisfatti.

I had a nice stay, Rosolino is very friendly and accommodating. He even let me come back and use the room/shower later on the day I had checked out, as it wasn't being used. Great value for money.

Super-de-luxe mensen & ontbijt!
Onze zoon vond het geweldig! Slapen in een kasteel, sterren kijken op het dakterras, lekker ontbijt, ... We hoefden niet ver te stappen om in het centrum van Palermo te geraken. Extra uitleg krijgen van de eigenaars, die dan ook nog super vriendelijk waren om het ons zo goed mogelijk naar onze zin te maken. Kortom een aanrader! PS: de buitenkant ziet er niet uit, maar laat jullie verrassen bij het binnenkomen! Proper, goede matras, geweldig ingericht, ...
