it was amazing because this hostal is great if you want to travel very cheap and this property is at the center of the city, you got a supermarket, the coast of the city, some parks, restaurants, barbershop around and near to the hostal so, I think it's a great option and not expensive for the travelers, the location of this place is really Good

Great location! Staff is nice and very understanding toward their guest! Free cold filtered water. Hot showers. 
.but something MUST be done about the rats. And even though I hated that. And I mean hated it (rats), the location, comfortable bed, and price were great and very much appreciated. But I have to be honest for future guests. Rats (lots) in the open kitchen is a problem at night. Something can and should be done by the owner. Electric wire, traps, poison, a cat or two! Something! Anything! The place has so much potential and I made lots of connections and life long friends.

Simple accommodations went a really long way for a weary traveler such as myself. And Hostel The Pod 33 was just what I needed. I slept like a rock. The Pod was quiet, clean and very accessible. And it's located in the charming neighborhood of Bella Vista, too.

For the price point this was a great hostel stay. I stayed in a 6-bed women’s pod room and it was very clean and comfortable. Once in my pod at night I was never woken up by any noise. It was very easy to catch an Uber to anywhere in town. Showers were clean with excellent water pressure.

My stay was fine. Half of the showers didn't work, but I was always able to use one of the ones that did. If you are a solo female traveler and want to stay in the women’s only dorm, you should now that you have to walk through the co-ed dorm in order to reach it, so it’s not quite as separate as I would have hoped. There also wasn’t any soap in the bathrooms, so you have to bring your own. But the location is good.

Very dirty. Rats and Cockroaches. Absent staff who seem to be doing you a favor by being there. A deep fear of working. Customer = work = problem. It seems like those two Colombians—the mother and son—want you out as soon as possible so they can be left in peace at home, but why don't they just go to a hotel instead of pretending to work and freeloading off the manager for two beds? I guess they're poor :/ The location is good; the manager seems OK when he's there

Staff was friendly and tried to be accommodating, but I did have to ring the doorbell for 10 minutes when I first arrived before someone finally answered. I also had to vacate the large shared room I was in and sleep on a sofa outside the room because someone had turned up the A/C to a level too high for my comfort.

The staff was fine, but there was a woman in our room who insisted on keeping the air conditioning off and the lights off!! She was very rude and I found out from staff that she had been getting into yelling fights with other guests. The owner should have thrown her out immediately but they gave her too many second chances! Ugh! There really aren’t any laundry facilities nearby, only a dry cleaner. Also the staff doesn’t speak English so have your translator app ready.

Mon refuge à Panama City. J’y retournerai !

J’ai fait plusieurs sĂ©jours Ă  Panama City et El Hostel Pod33 Ă©tait Ă  chaque fois mon point de chute. La situation est parfaite dans un quartier trĂšs sĂ»r PrĂšs de la station de mĂ©tro Santo Tomas, d’un super marchĂ©. Je suis allĂ©e Ă  pied visiter la ville ancienne. Super accueil. Gentillesse et disponibilitĂ©. J’ai laissĂ© des affaires pendant mon trip dans le Darien. La literie est parfaite. Chaque lit a sa prise de courant et un rideau pour prĂ©server l’intimitĂ©. Il existe des lits doubles en dortoir. La climatisation. GĂ©nial. Peut-ĂȘtre que quelques ustensiles de cuisine et le mobilier de la salle Ă  manger/ salon serait Ă  rĂ©nover mais on s’y sent franchement bien! J’y retournerai encore et encore, c’est certain.
