Exceptionally courteous and helpful staff. I don’t recall booking the Royal suite but the room was impressive with a balcony. There are two main negatives. The first is the most idiotic door knob with integrated security keyboard that is extremely difficult to use. I had to ask the receptionist to help me open / close the door to my room on three occasions. The rest of the world uses a simple key card or even a key. The other negative is loud music from the bar/restaurant downstairs which lasted until 2 am on Sunday. Monday night was quieter. In summary, this is a fantastic hotel on the edge of the historic Quarter with beautiful rooms. This would be an excellent option if noise doesn’t bother you.

Our stay at Oasis Hotel far exceeded our expectations! They went above-and-beyond to make us feel welcomed and the room was perfect! Very spacious and comfortable. Perfect location to explore Casco Viejo and a lovely rooftop bar with excellent views. I would highly recommend!

Great stay!

Everything about my stay was perfect. The room was huge and amazing for the price. The hotel is in a great, safe location within quick walking distance of many shops and restaurants. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. There is a rooftop bar that can be loud at night if you have a higher level room, but the hotel provides ear plugs for more light sleepers. It helps to know “survival Spanish” to communicate, but the same can be said in general throughout Panama City.

The hotel is centrally located in the historic district and the staff was very helpful and accommodating. Unfortunately, there was no Wi-Fi for one entire day so it's frustrating. However, this may not be entirety their fault. My particular room has no windows at all.

The location and room were nice, but the place has bad/minimal staffing that ruined part of my trip. No one was manning the front desk when I arrived and an office behind it was unlocked and unattended. I had a later flight the next day and had hoped to store my luggage, but with the lack of care and staffing, I went to the airport really early and wasted hours I meant to sightsee. It didn't feel safe to leave my bags in that situation. When I mentioned the concern, staff didn't apologize or seem to get the problem. Waited a long time to finally find someone that would help me check in - someone (a waiter from a related restaurant) called cleaning staff to let me in. Locks/safes are a bit complicated, so a tad nerve wracking - since if you run into trouble, you won't find any staff to help you. It's unfortunate - with reliable and reachable staff, this would be a great place (clean, decent price, spacious, good views).

Great crash pad hotel in the heart of Casco Viejo. Hotel has huge rooms for a very good price, but they are a little on the older side. Staff was nice, room was clean, and you cannot beat the location. Hotel also has a rooftop bar with great views of the city. The Casco area is gorgeous, extremely safe, and has plenty of options for food and drink. Heads up - there are some clubs nearby and it can get pretty loud at night. It didn't bother me, but it may not be ideal for others.

We were warned about the loud music, but after one or two nights, it does become a little too much if you’re not here to party. When staying in Casco Viejo, we realized most everything is within walking distance. We were originally staying closer to Casa Casco in an AirBnB, and glad we did a pivot to this place because a block further, it looked more sketchy. The service and staff were all excellent and friendly at Oasis. The Sama Rooms were dated, but clean. But have to say we had the best views of the city (Royal Suite)
