"Vastaanotossa ei tulostamme tiedetty - virkailija soitti jonnekin. Toisessa huoneessa ei ollut peittoa laisinkaan - lainasin toisesta (meillä oli 2 huonetta). Virvokkeiden hintaa ei tiedetty - virkailija soitti jonnekin. Uloskirjautumisen yhteydessä virkailija ei tiennyt, että huoneet on jo maksettu - virkailija soitti jonnekin. "

"Good customer service. There was unexpected rain but they even changed our rooms for us. The workers were extremely polite and the breakfast was excellent. They were very helpful and kind with us, and I highly recommend this place for everyone."

"Very lovely couple and the room was delightful. The big windows meant it was moonlight all night with a full moon and you could see Adam’s Peak from their garden."

On the plus side, it's a beautifully situated property, very nicely decorated, with tasty breakfast and good, caring service with a smile.
On the minus side, there is no noise insulation in the room at all, you will get very loud environmental noises leech into the room from outside all day and night. Luckily I brought earplugs so I wasn't bothered that much. There was a good amount of spider webs around the A/C and one live but small roach on the towel rack.
Overall it was a pleasant stay,...

It's a brand new hotel when I visit the hotel. I was amazed by the facilities and the overall quality of my room when it's compared to it's price tag. The room was clean and smelled good. amenities were good too. I gotta mention about the staff there, they were super friendly and convenient. They gave me an extra hour to check out for free. I have to mention him. His name is Amila, Amila was being super helpful to me in the two days. I had some issues with my tv then amila came and set it up for...

Besides the long steps up to our room, this was a very pleasant stay for my sisters and I. The owner was very nice and welcomed us. The property has such a beautiful view. The property itself is very cozy sitting on a hill. Every morning breakfast is served, fresh eggs, delicious toast, juice and tea. The owner's son was very friendly and engaged in a fun conversation in our room, very nice family. We stayed in the apartment that made us feel right at home. Thankyou for the great hospitality! I...

A good location with a beautiful view . Rooms are big and clean. The food is very good. The showers are the best ( good hot water pressure) .The hotel is situated only a few meteres from lake and kandy city centre . joseph and kumari ( owners) are very kindhearted and they really take good care of there guests.

Jack tree lodge is a nice place to stay, the owner is very nice and the staff too, we felt home. They offered breakfast every morning. The location is a 15 minutes walk from the city which was better for us. The rooms have a nice view.
The only disadvantage in Kandy is that almost everything closes around 10 pm so nothing much to do or places to eat.

Pearl was a great little place on the side of the mountain near the train station in Kandy. The property is clean, quiet and safe and the sitting area is a place where you could zone out and spend hours reading or just enjoying the view.
it is a short walk down to the main streets of Kandy where local restaurants and cafes etc are everywhere.
The manager and his wife are very helpful and serve a great breakfast.
Be sure you know how you are getting here. Tuktuk or walking WITH google maps...

Nice breakfast (eggs coffee toast fruit), a bit of road noise, but that is expected as it is a busy city, good service, very genuine employees, ice cold A/C, English TV choices, decent wifi, overall a great stay.

Hotel was comfortable, safe, and they had onsite driver accommodations (apparently a thing in Sri Lanka). We didn't get to stay here long enough, and there was a festival that made the streets incredibly crowded. I wish we had the chance to explore the area more, however we made our way down (per the hotel's recommendation) to dinner at Hideout Lounge, and then back to the hotel. The pool is small and we weren't enticed to use it. Breakfast in the morning is offered as a buffet with plenty of...

The location is convenient and there are frequent buses to the nearby bus stop, so transportation is stress-free. The owner and staff speak English well and are very kind. They provided me with maps to show me many tourist spots and delicious restaurants, and assisted me in making my stay more fulfilling.
When you go there for the first time, it is difficult to find the location from the outside due to the shutters, but it is located exactly as shown on the map and has a small nameplate....

This is a great option for backpacker's seaking an authentic homestay experience. Chulanka is such a gracious host and he helps arrange anything you need. He truly took care of us. You cannot miss a home cooked meal from Mom either.

I LOVED my stay at Kandy Hub Guest House. It's not in the city, so you'll need a car to get there as it's a bit hard to find. The distance was totally worth it to me for the views, affordability, and attentive, friendly, and helpful staff. I really enjoyed the rooftop breakfast too. The room was very clean and comfortable.
The only issue I had was that the bathroom had some webs and a spider when I came in. The employee I spoke with was very receptive when I asked him to help me remove them,...
