This quaint little hotel is a very short distance from Gare De L'est and Gare Du Nord, very easy to get around aris from here. The rooms are clean and confortable and the staff are very friendly. We were warmly welcomed. Dont bother looking at the others around here, if you want a clean comfortable cheap hôtel, this is the best.

Hotel itself is decent, the staff are very helpful. It is located on a very loud street so sleeping wasn't the easiest. The location is quite far from the main attractions and it is close to a sketchy train station.

Hotel Alane feels like Paris

Nice and comfortable hotel with a real Parisian athmosphere. Excellent connections towards major sights by Metro, and near the CDG Airport train station. Staff was very friendly, both the parents and the teens enjoyed their stay. The restaurant right next door (La Parisien) was also very good. Rooms are not large, but quite enough. For the price, a Real Find.

Gotta love Hotel Alane

I travel to Paris often and Hotel Alane is always one of the first places I check for availability. It's priced incredibly well, always reliable, has very friendly service, and is close Gare du Nord/the metro. There's some good food and fun bars in the area too. If you're spending your days out and about in the city and need an easy and clean place to stay, Hotel Alane is it!

I thought it was a lovely hotel and staff was wonderful . Worked perfectly for my stay . Didn’t give 5 stars because I had to ask for a fridge or a bin to be brought in (which they did and was great) but just thinking it shouldn’t have to be asked for some with body wash which wasn’t refilled until I inquired. Other than that it was absolutely perfect and clean . One of the most pleasant staff members I saw in hotels all over the world

It was nice hotel to sleep. The heater is not working so well, only shortly but at least we had good warm in bed even with too thick pillow is hard for us to sleeps otherwise, all is fine and good location to find places and metro.

Similar to other reviews. Situated on a noisy road which was fine for me as I am used to it but I can see it being a problem for some people. Well located close to Gare Du Nord and Gare L’est

Two minor irritations were 1) There was no milk (dried or otherwise) included in the tea making facilities so we had to as for some. 2) The tap, washbasin combo is so designed as to whoosh water all over the floor when tap is turned on. Otherwise a very pleasant stay and quite unusually arty décor which we happened to like. Breakfast OK, pleasant staff, and 10 minutes to are Du Nord so we'll book again when next in the city of light.

Very Central, Comfortable, Money’s Worth

We had a corner room with two French balconies and great Paris views. The hotel is close to Gar du Nord, which was quite useful. It’s also close to the metro line and Canal Saint Martin, a very local Paris district. The only issue was the subtle smell coming from the toilet. It must be due to the buildings age and condition. Also the walls do not have great sound insulation. Otherwise, comfortable bed and everything was fine.

The area is not a great location, makes you feel unsafe a little bit. The room is tiny and the shower door does not close well so the water gets everywhere on the bathroom floor. The room also makes a funny noise at night as if someone is trying to come in the room.
