Breakfast was above expectations and great range for a small place. Great service and hospitality and decent location. Room was decent with a huge comfy bed
We had a lovely stay. The staff was extremely helpful. We found many great bakeries in the neighborhood. The hotel is very close to the Rome Metro stop and the bus stop. I would return again.
Pleasantly surprised to get early very check in when we arrived. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Property and rooms are comfortable. Bed was great, air conditioning excellent. 5-8 minute walk to bus or tube. We’d recommend this hotel.
We loved the room, the location and the staff. The bed was super comfy, the bathroom was perfect and the hotel was conveniently located close to a few Metro stations. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.
we were here for 4 days. very comfortable bed, good closet space. room was a little small for 2 people and suitcases. the walk-in shower was nice but the sink didn't have a lot of space around it for toiletries. very walkable area, plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. very friendly staff. they had a breakfast buffet but we didn't purchase it.
The staff were wonderful. They took care of our luggage after we checked out, provided fresh water as it was a really hot day and happily allowed us to come back and stay in lobby for 2 HOURS until our taxi came. Like I said it's the middle of a heatwave and they were so kind keeping us cool. I will come back and stay again. Amazing!
A hotel with the style from Chicago in the 50’s.
Lovely staff that managed to book a New Year’s Eve Dinner although we where late.
Quite close to mayor places.
An expansive garage not to far from the hotel. No place toquick charge our Ev.
The walls are super thin so be prepared to hear everything and for everything to be heard. However the style decor was nice, cozy. Really helpful, nice staff. Great free coffee machine. Decent location.
The best thing about Grand Hôtel Chicago is how clean it is — everything was very tidy. The location is good, with easy access to metro and buses. There are lots of nice cafés and bakeries nearby that aren’t too expensive. I recommend having breakfast at one of them instead of the hotel.
On the downside, the hotel is overpriced. The rooms are small, there’s no real view, and it doesn’t feel like a 4-star hotel. I’d only recommend it if cleanliness is your top priority.
The front desk staff is exception (especially Constance, Yusuf and Majid)—they were welcoming, kind, and personable. I loved the 20s decor. The lighting in the room was a little dim, but not a deal breaker by a long shot. Clean and comfortable hotel.
This property was amazing. The staff were great and even appreciated my poor French and accepted my apology. I stayed with my two daughter and there only complaint was that the elevator was slow….they didn’t know I was running il the stairs and hitting the button on each floor. Sorry!!! Really impressed with this property it was amazing
I think this was the nicest hotel experience I’ve ever had! It was perfect- helpful and attentive but low key and not in your face. Dreamy bed and sheets, knowledgable staff, great location, excellent showers. Cold water in rooms. I can’t fault it at all.
We had the warmest of welcomes when we arrived. The staff were so friendly and helpful they were great. Metros nearby, lovely quiet area. The hotel was immaculate, the bed was incredibly comfy , hard to get up in the morning. Decided to go for the breakfast, there’s a large selection from hot food to pastries, fruit , cereal just to name abut it was lovely. Highly recommend this hotel.
The room had a beautiful view over the Eiffel Tower. We loved the area as it’s not touristic but full of local restaurants and shops. It’s extremely well connected to everywhere included the main station. 15 mins walk from Montmartre.
The room we stayed in was a tad small especially the toilet/shower and we found dust and hair in the bed, but nothing major.
