This place is a mixed bag. The bed was great, as was the breakfast! Close to the airport, which is nice if you're traveling, but that also means you need a taxi to go anywhere else for anything social (dinner, shopping, etc.). The property itself, in some places, is a little run down. The front receptiin area/bar is nice. I think they're marketing the place as a "destination location", which is fine if you're traveling with a group, but unnecessary if it's just one or two travellers. They put us in one of their handicap accessible rooms. The door to the bathroom is of the barn door style, making it noisy to open and close. Not good when you're trying to not wake your partner. The hall door jamb had been damaged by an apparent forced entry, then repaired, but not well, such that the door made a terrible metal-on-metal scraping sound every time it opened. The exercise facility in the basement has a good selection of equipment but is not well lit. Also, the motion detectors in that room, as well as the hallway outside, do not work well, forcing you to feel around in the dark to find them. Would I stay here again? Yes, but only if the price was right.
