The property was extremely comfortable, with spacious rooms, comfortable beds and pillows, and incredibly helpful, polite, friendly staff. The steam room was a wonderful treat after long days tramping around the city. The location in the Latin Quarter was ideal for eating, shopping and sightseeing. I would definitely stay here again.

This is a small boutique hotel that has not been ruined by remodeling. The location is walking to most of the main sights. The breakfast was excellent. When my partner fell ill, they had a doctor to our room within an hour. You would have thought she was family with the concern they showed.

We have stayed here before and everything was as good as we remembered. We do not have breakfast in the hotel and there isn't a bar if this is something you require Everyone is very friendly and helpful and the location is perfect in a quiet corner of the Latin Quarter

This hotel was beautiful and the room was very comfortable. What really made it stand out was the friendly, welcoming staff, especially Kaisar who took great care of us, helping with recommendations and with transportation during an especially busy time. Wonderful concierge staff! Hachim was amazingly helpful. The hotel is perfectly situated in the Latin Quarter yet on a quiet end of the street. Excellent breakfast, too. We will definitely stay here again next time we’re in Paris.

Boutique style hotel in the 5th Arondissement with I believe having just 14 cozy rooms total. The entire staff was great! Very friendly and informative when we had questions about the area and dining option recommendations. Close to transportation and in a safe area. Uniquely decorated rooms. Each has lots of charm and personality. Daily breakfast available (for a fee if it's not included in a package) with a cheerful and friendly staff member to assist when needed. If you're looking for personalized service in a unique environment, Hotel Residence Henri IV is definitely the way to go. We would definitely stay there again!

Staying here isblike staying at the Ritz. Not only the hotel is luxurious but the location is perfect. The staff!! Very nice people and housekeeping too. Belive it or not, but this hotel is a Michele star rayed hotel. So the expectations are there.

First trip to Europe/Paris

Visiting Europe/Paris for the first time as a couple, we did not know what to expect. We celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary. We did a lot of research and based on past reviews we chose Hotel Residence Henri IV. Our experience was well beyond or expectations! The hotel was spacious, beautiful and all staff there made our stay an special one! We would highly recommend this hotel to all! Location was perfect, away from the tourist crowds which allowed us to be Parisiennes for our entire stay. Will definitely stay there again on our next visit! Rudy and Kim

A Wonderful Surprise!

It is a challenge to say how wonderfully surprised we were by our 5-day stay at Residence Henri IV. On this particular trip, we wanted to stay clear of 'our usual chains' so we could have a more culturally Parisian experience, and we were extremely fortunate to have found Residence Henri IV. The front desk staff went over the top to be friendly, helpful, and supportive. They could not have been better. Ditto the housekeeping staff - the rooms were spotlessly clean, and refreshed to that state every day. The Residence is located in the Latin Quarter and just down the street from interesting cafes, restaurants, and bars that were frequented by university students visiting, laughing, or reading books; all of these were within easy walking distance of the Residence in an area we felt very safe in late into the night. At the Residence, which is about 50 meters down a cul-de-sac from the main street, which is perfect since it leaves any street noise behind, you are also within walking distance of Notre Dame, Old Paris, and other interesting sites. The basement breakfast nook was very comfortable and well-stocked with full breakfast choices of salmon, fruit, breads, meats and cheeses, and juices and coffee. There is also a clean, modern, and very inviting steam room in the basement. The staff in all areas went over the top to be friendly and helpful. Our time at Residence Henri IV was, in all ways, a wonderfully pleasant and positive surprise.

I loved this beautiful boutique hotel and would stay here again. The rooms were beautifully appointed, the staff were extremely helpful going over and above. The location was so close to major attractions (Notre Dame, the Seine River, Panteon, transportation (bus and subway), great shopping, markets and bakeries and cafes! Loved it!
