"This place was fantastic. Very close to the train station so didn’t have to haul luggage far. Was also close in proximity to some great private beaches ($40 for two chairs and an umbrella all day). "Nice room. Clean. Nice area. Terrible check in process. For one I was never informed i had to check-in online before arriving. I spent 1.5 hours on the street attempting to get ahold of someone. They use an automated chat on what’s app that was useless. Was charged 25 euro for not checking in 24 hours in advance. Finally that was resolved. My other complaint was the leaking air conditioning. Woke up to a flooded room and soaked clothes. No rectification. Just a “thanks for letting us know”....

"This is a very well set up and managed hotel. Very thoughtfully planned and built. The disadvantages of having no reception and living on the third floor are negated by attentive proprietors who make sure that guests know evrything they need to know. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the hotel to all others. Contrary to the promotioal material put out by Expedia, the hotel does not have "on-site parking", but there is convenient space near by."

"This place was beautiful. We were in the Monterosso room, just off the main desk area & breakfast area. Room was beautifully done, comfortable & everything you needed. We enjoyed relaxing on the terrace (open for all guests & also the breakfast area). It overlooked part of the village. The hosts are very kind. Making us cappuccinos each morning. Breakfast bar is just what you need to start the day. Yogurt bowls, fruit, granola, chia seeds, local honey. Toast/hard boiled egg. Assortment of salami & cheeses. In fact, they made us a bowl of fruit the morning we had to leave super early - just so we would have something to start the day. About a 5-8 min walk to the beach. We loved the location. You can rent sunbeds & umbrella (all set up). Our hosts had 2 beach towels in the room for us to use. Go site see in a day to the other towns. We left at 9am & back @ 4pm, and didn’t feel rushed. We bought the Cinque Terre “day” train card. So we went back to the 1st town Riomaggiore, walked the tunnel to the marina, walked the village. Then walked the Via dell’Amore (walk cliff side along Mediterranean Sea). Takes about 20 min (Free with that day card, but you need to book a time slot for entry). Connecting you to the next town Manarola. Again, walked to the marina, the village. It was a vibe there. Had lunch over the cliff side at Nassun Dorma. Doesn’t get much better than a fresh charcuterie board, bruschetta & a drink. Then onto the next 2 towns. Loved our stay!"

"This was a great apartment, lots of space for a family of 4. Two bedrooms, a cute kitchen, a living room amd washroom. It had a lovely balcony with sea and mountain views. Washing machine came in handy and the clothes dried surprisingly fast on the drying rack. Check in was easy with a video sent to really see the location. Only 2 things to be aware of: a lot of steps to get up there, we tolerated them but they could be a lot, and, the washroom door was not frosted enough. We hung a towel across it. Great location too, to walk to the beach and train. The train runs under and past the building and did go by every 20 minutes in the day but we barely noticed. Sounded like soothing thunder. I think it either stopped or was less frequent at night."
