“We arrived at the hotel after a long drive from near Bordeaux and just wanted dinner and then bed. We’d chosen the hotel because it had a restaurant but on arrival we were told the restaurant was closed on weekends. So we had to get back in the car and drive to a fast food chain for an average meal. Next morning, breakfast at the hotel was excellent. “The property was not what we expected. Our room was very basic without A/C & a very small room & bathroom. Shower was the only good thing in the room. There was a pool but it was built outside the reception with out any grass, trees or any ambience surrounding it. Breakfast & area around it was very good. The main reason for booking here were the pictures of the waterfalls behind the hotel & convenience of traveling from Suisse to Burgundy. The hotel is what I would consider average.”
