"Got items stolen by other guests and the receptionist said what do you want me to do???? I found where it was and located the thieves and they still didn’t do anything but tell me they didn’t want the police called. I don’t expect a lot of hotels but this shook me. On nye I’m out here doing Sherlock Holmes to find my item guests stole????? I had to confront them with my friend and they hid it in a panel on their floor behind pipes because I left a message on it saying I’d call the police...

"I stayed for 2 nights at Hotel Sol Plays after the Valencia marathon in December. The hotel was good value and had a great location, right by the beach. It felt a bit quiet being out of season. The hotel itself was fine and functional. Bed was a bit hard for my liking. Shower was nice and powerful. Staff were helpful and friendly. I wouldn't have wanted to spend lots of time at the hotel, but it was perfectly fine as a base when I was spending most of my time out and about in Valencia."
