“Older hotel that needs serious renovation. The rooms are Texas size, which is nice. The shower was very easy to use, although I wish it was a walk-in shower rather than a tub-shower combo. The ladies at the front desk were helpful, especially when telling me about popular restaurants in Mabank and Gun Barrel City. I frequented two of them (one Italian; one steakhouse) and they were excellent.
But I discovered rust stains in the bedroom section and bathroom, one of the lamps didn't illuminate,...

“No hot water in the shower. Toilet tank was brown and disgusting and there was no cover for the tank.Toilet bowl was also very dirty. Fire alarm was not connected.”

“Rooms are old. I was told to get a safer room I had to pay $15 extra which was an access door to inside the property and a outside door access. My cousin was charged $10 extra dollars a night because he had a new coffee pot in his room. The pillows are old and flat. The towels, soaps, and wash cloths were inadequate and the bedding is old. The carpet is very old and felt dirty.”
