“Anaxo Resort isn’t super easy to get to but it is well worth the effort. It’s not hard to get to really, the road is a little narrow and windy but manageable It is a gorgeous place. The rooms are equipped with a small kitchen and the beds and showers are super comfy. The staff is great - super friendly and helpful. The pool and the bar are fantastic. ”

“Castle view bungalows are chalet type buildings at the foot of the hill leading up to the castle. There is a decent sized pool on site and breakfast comes in the form of a pre-prepared box for two. The drive up to the Castle is short and must be done. The admission of 12 Euros is well worth the money, the views and the frescoes in the three churches are amazing. A word of warning, the footpaths are uneven and the climb is strenuous. The nearby village of Mystras is charming and has several...

“The room was modern, clean and spectacular. The hosts were exceptional - helpful and very pleasant. And the breakfast - so very tasty. Freshly squeezed orange juice, espresso/cappuccino, fruit, yogurt, pastries. The property is not right in the downtown area - but parking is easy and it's a very short drive. Highly recommend!”

The pool is amazing, house is well equipped, area is quiet and perfect for recharging. But most of all, the people are amazing. Marios is the kindest, nicest and most fun person you’ll ever meet. “JUST DELIGHTFUL! 43 years of traveling together and this is one of our favorite spots ever. Open your door from the little brick street and see right through to a tiny island. ALL of the staff are friendly, and the owner makes certain that the place is immaculate, refreshed every year. This is one of the best spots on the beach in Tolo, and the lounge chairs are definitely the nicest. Be sure and have their excellent breakfast delivered to your private patio overlooking the sea!”

“Thoroughly recommended. A really comfortable place with a great - and big - pool and huge verandas in each room. Looks pretty new and everything is in very smart condition and rooms very well equipped. Methoni castle and town are a pleasant 25 minutes walk (or 5 minute drive) through countryside and then along the sea shore. There are plenty of good restaurants in Methoni and the hotel gave us very good recommendations. ”
