"A stunning converted monastery with breathtaking views of the valley behind it. We stayed in a beautiful large and clean room with a balcony overlooking the valley from which we saw hundreds of swifts whirling around us, storks flying in the distance and birds of pray hovering waiting for their next meal to show up. The hotel has a really good restaurant and bar and the breakfast choices were excellent. Very nice and helpful staff were on hand at all times. The hotel is very conveniently located for the old town and a short walk away from the Roman viaduct which is absolutely amazing. Highly recommended."

"We stayed one night in order to go to the airport early the next morning. It was about 30 minutes- convenient location. We appreciated the easy underground parking. The room was comfortable and very clean."

"Fantastic place, lots of energy around, long walk distance from the room to lobby and restaurant and parking, it is a huge place, so if you don’t love to walk be prepared because taking your luggage to the room is far away. The Basilica, the hotel and everything around is “magical”. The room is according to a monastery, no fancy beds or bathroom, but everything you need to enjoy this amazing place."

"I was a little disappointed overall, although the view was amazing. I expected a little more from the Eurostar name. We were given a multi-room suite, which I did not book. There were only two of us, so it felt a little odd we had a separate virtually empty sitting room with not much more than a pull-out couch. Just feels like it’s ready for an update throughout. The atrium inside was dark and empty. One highlight was definitely the cheerful breakfast room and impressive self-serve spread. Oh and I almost forgot, upon arriving to the room the shower head immediately snapped off, reinforcing the idea everything needs an update. They did immediately address the problem and it was fixed in about an hour. Staff was friendly and helpful!"

"The staff were great and I appreciated the early check in. Breakfast was also great. Unfortunately there was a smell of cigarette smoke in the bathroom that seemed to be coming through the vents from the room above. They should look at blocking it off because it was a strong smell, as if someone had been smoking in my room."
