“Quinta de Recião has numerous properties. This review is for the one-bedroom cottage (Casa do Moinho - the Mill House) The Mill House is a beautiful property, hosted by beautiful people. The main room has kitchen, table, lounge, small TV and a fire. The separate bedroom has two single beds with an adjoining bathroom. The cottage sits right on the edge of the Rio Varosa (Varosa River) and the sound of running water is peaceful and calming. There is the option to have a home cooked meal...

“The tour around the town is really interesting, if you get the opportunity to do the private tour I’d highly recommend it, we even went into backyards to check on the almonds drying, and picked figs off the tree to eat. So relaxing and quiet. Dinner and breakfast in the Restaurant was delicious and the service brilliant, The apartment has subdued lighting which fits with the room but might not be enough for everyone, we would stay here again if in the area.”
