“The location is hard to beat, but no restaurants near only cook yourself so this means going to the grocery store in pedasi. This is kind of a nightmare when you are a foreigner. The wifi is super slow there is no cable. That is quite annoying, the help at the properties are extremely nice and try to be helpful, i can not recommend ataying here.”

“This is our go to hotel in Las Tablas. Clean rooms, good AC and a decent restaurant with good coffee. Only issue is when the hotel only has a few rooms booked they dont turn on the boiler for the hot water. Whenever I ask they always say its broken...However when the hotel is full like for a holiday weekend the hot water always seems to be fine. Have had this experience for over 8 years so we know what is really going on....”

“No hot water. Strange sewage smell. No water pressure. No coffee makers or coffee available on site. No blankets on beds. We had to ask for towels for the room. I would not consider this a hotel. More like a hostel. I was sorely disappointed. Paid over 100.00 per night for this? Not again. ”

“El Ranchito Surf Camp. Well, there's not much 'camp' about it. Beautifully landscaped grounds and accommodations. When you have Jiani as a stellar chef and Lorenzo as the perfect surf instructor/fitness coach (nice gym and even better instruction)....well check all the boxes for El Ranchito. Very accommodating hosts, that get you to and on the surf. Nicely sculpted beach break, rights and lefts, only 100 yards to the outside sets (solid 6'+ face). A very memorable and fun experience.”
