“Room wasn't great for the cost (was pretty small, but is limited because of the type of building), however the bathroom looked like it had recently been refurbished, and the room was clean. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff were very helpful.”

“Lovely clean room & the staff were all very helpful and friendly. The only thing to note was I had to ask for towels, because none were left out, but other than that we had a very lovely stay here and would definitely come back. Breakfast was fantastic, can't say anything negative about this place, it was a great over night stay. Thanks very much!”

“Food was exceptionally good with great choice. Staff pleasant and helpful.”

“Food was good. Luxury room was not luxurious. Very small. Carpets on stairs need seeing to as are a trip hazard. Bar area, windows need a very good clean! Cobwebs and dust must have been there quite a while.”

“A very clean and well equipped room - limited parking but perfectly adequate - disappointing lack of breakfast - rice crispies and cormflakes don't do it! Very good dinner and bar facilities”

“Regrettably our room number 6. Did not smell nice. It had the smell of old wet trainers. We did mention it and a room diffuser was turned on. Some of the fixtures and fitting were falling apart. The shower was head was not appropriate for the size of the shower causing flooding. The staff were lovely and theroom was clean.”

“주차와 음식이 좋아요. 그러나 외진 곳에 물 한병도 없고 방은 너무 좁고 타월 레일은 꺼둬서 욕실이 추워요. ”

“Beautifully refurbished rooms, and all round lovely pub”

“아침식사가 맛있어요~! 바가 있어서 저녁을 먹기도 좋았어요. 방에서 보이는 풍경도 멋지고, 숙소의 위치도 좋았습니다. 엘레베이터가 없다는 점만 빼고 다 좋았습니다. 또 가보고 싶습니다.”

“The reason I haven’t scored 5 is that Expedia sold us a room that had issues with noise / cooking smells as it’s above the kitchen and is noisey and smelly when the staff are cooking. We stayed in a room named Helvellyn and Expedia didn’t state any issues with any rooms. If we had booked direct with the queens head it details the room helvellyn as having issues with noise etc due to it’s proximity to the kitchen. I think Expedia have been misleading not detailing the facts about that particular...
