"Not the best but it was somewhere to sleep"

"Cute little hotel that obviously has history but has been renovated very nicely and feels quite modern. Nice courtyard area with bbqs and a firepit. Would have liked a hot tub out there too! Would prefer the lighting options in the room not to be that stark cool white that so many are nowadays- but instead a warmer glow for more coziness. Maybe blackout blinds for the bedroom. Water takes a long while to heat up for showers but that is noted on the in-room info card. Once it is warm, the showers are lovely. Check-in and out were super simple. Parking lot should have the second exit open at the back so that larger vehicles don’t have to do a ten-point turn to get out. The applies during happy hour at Sociale restaurant were amazing and the staff very attentive and friendly. The beach is right out front (across the street) and the sunset to die for. We visited on May long weekend and the neighbourhood had a nice laid back vibe to it that wasn't too crazy but I imagine would be quite the party area later in the summer. We will be back!"

"Good location. Bed was nice. Had a small fridge and kettle. Floors were very dirty. Couldn't find anyone to tell about floors or get another coffee for our second night. Need to clean cob webs from ceiling area."

"Spacious room for two- mini fridge, complimentary bottled water and microwave all in room. You can hear some traffic at night but sounds like intermittent white noise. You can hear footsteps above and water sounds from other rooms taking showers/ toilet flushing. Earplugs solves those issues! Bed was comfortable and plenty of pillows to use. Location was great- easy to walk to restaurants. It was a pleasant stay for a night."

"Do not stay here, we had a horrible experience. Our room was late when we showed up to check in. The room wasn’t event cleaned when they gave us the key to check in. There was cigarette ashes in the bed, room was dirty and there was a guy smoking on a lawn chair right outside our door. Staff wasn’t much help and showed little concern, even though we have a young child! This place isn’t for families, did not feel safe, would not recommend.. to say the least. Hotels.com staff was helpful and processed a cancellation claim due to the concerns."

"I had a great stay here solo for business. If you have a family with kids it has a large grassed central courtyard with shade trees and tables to sit at. It wasn’t open yet but there is an outside pool. There’s an inside pool and hot tub open but I didn’t have time to use them. Breakfast is included and they offer the normal buffet stuff along with two waffle irons. The coffee is pretty good and the staff is friendly. My next visit will include my family for R&R."

"Great place to stay as it was easy to find, was close to the amenities we were interested in. Rooms are larger than usual, clean and attended to daily (we stayed 4 days). It would have been nice to have a small table to sit at but we were ok with the furniture otherwise. Breakfast was good enough, we didn't need gourmet. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Wings restaurant right next door, we loved it!"
