"I felt really comfortable with this hotel. There were a 2 or 3 minor things that prevented it from being an excellent experience, but nothing that would keep me from staying there again. Like other guests said, the area isn’t so great, but the pool on the rooftop kept me there long enough that I didn’t even want to leave. Overall, I think you should stay here if you are thinking about it."

"The staff at the rooftop were not great, ignored us quite often. The lobby sometimes has water and sometimes it did not or water station was very messy. Asked for extra towels a couple of times and they never brought them."

"Initially, I was going to give this place 3/5 stars because when we first checked-in we were giving 2 single beds combined to make a "queen" along with a not so comfortable sofa bed that isn't really a sofa. Additionally, a lot of items had to be requested multiple times because they were not initially provided/bottles were almost empty: body wash and shampoo. However, after I complained to the front desk about my room and how I had to call front desk multiple times to get the items I needed. One of the night front desk staff listened to my concerns and immediately provided me with reassurance that they will get us a new room with said beds and items. He appreciated that we vocied out our concerns. He directed us to the manager, to make sure things were understood well after his shift. Eventually, we got an upgraded room to a King, the items I requested, an actual extra bed, 50% off at their restaurant, and great customer service. My family wished they were the ones that greeted us on the day we checked-in and not the receptionist that appeared judgemental. I am glad that although the hotel was fully booked, they were able to redeem themselves and provide us with the service we paid for"

"We had a nice stay for one night at the Candia while we were transiting through Athens. The hotel is located a couple blocks from a metro line, so easy to get to other places in the city. The rooftop pool is very nice, though can get crowded at times. Would definitely stay here again."

"Super clean and nice room. Appreciate the design they put into it. The area is loud and feels slightly unsafe at night if you're walking around. This is no fault of the hotel just the environment. It's super close to nice cafes and restaurants and the metro. Really enjoyed our stay."
