I had a king bed reservation but got a twin room. Also, the wine was Australian wine, but it was not good. I am not saying that I want Margaret River wine or anything like that, but I think you should think about whether to serve better wine or quit the wine vip service.

The property is very well situated and the room was large but very run down. I would have enjoyed the balcony although there was no patio furniture. The bed was comfortable but the bathroom had black and red mould, the shower curtain had mould and was only supported by a few curtain rings. There was also only one towel each supplied. All in all very disappointing for an iconic hotel chain.

Myself & 2 kids had a fantastic stay here. Hotel is wonderful, clean & modern. The staff are very friendly & efficient. We did not eat lunch or dinner in the restaurant, but the buffet breakfast was phenomenally good! But the #1 highlight was the amazing swimming pool - we spent so many hours out there enjoying the ocean views whilst swimming; the kids loved the waterfalls and rocks, and we all loved the spa. Only negatives are there weee no pool towels available one afternoon, whilst the pool bar could do with staying open an extra hour or 2 (especially on weekends). But overall a 10/10 rating. Thanks so much for such a lovely stay that my kids will remember forever.

Location, location, location. This hotel has one of the best locations in Perth located in Scarborough however it is in need of a refurbishment. Also no free water in a room at $300/night is very steep.

Lovely location and the pool is fantastic. Property is a bit dated and needs some TLC. My room was disappointing, large but dark and balcony got no sun and a continual sound of trickling water through the walls. No furniture on balcony so couldn't sit out anyway. Check in was slow, probably just bad timing. Staff were very friendly and helpful, a shame the property didnt live up to their standards.

Only ever saw one reception staff member smile the entire time - made to feel like an inconvenience. Had to pay $25 for on site parking owned by the hotel (after already paying $350 a night) is awful - no excuse but an opportunity to extort more money from guests. Charging additional fees to ‘deliver food’ on an in room dining menu, therefore making guests have to leave their room and pick up their food, if I wanted to come to the restaurant I wouldn’t order room service. The exterior is old, tired and dated. Looking up at the balconies you can see mould and stains on the walls - needs to be repainted. There is no seating on their balcony, making it useless space - a shame given the view. The pool area aesthetic was dated and unpleasant. The spa water was dirty and cold and the bubbles didn’t work. The lifts were cramped and crowded, used the lifts multiple times and the left one seemed to be the only one working. Would never opt to stay there again. A 3 star hotel at best with a 5 star price. Only redeeming feature is the view. If another hotel built in that area they would go out of business. I think the owners know this and have given up.

Fantastic location but in need of major refurb
The hotel is in a great location right across the road from Scarborough beach and close to all the bars and restaurants. Amazing spot to watch the magnificent sunsets. The hotel is in dire need of a renovation, the bathrooms look like they have not been touched since the 70s and the room furnishings are poor and falling apart. The bed was hard and uncomfortable and the curtains badly stained. There is no furniture on the balcony, so you cannot sit outside with a glass of wine and enjoy the view. We booked an ocean view room, but when we checked into the room, it was in a corner overlooking a busy road with an ocean glimpse at best. I went to reception to complain and to be fair, they quickly put us in another room with an ocean view. Swimming pool is great with a bar available but not enough sun loungers and the area is not cleaned very quickly to remove dirty glasses and food waste etc. If this hotel underwent a major refurbishment program, it could be a spectacular place to stay. Until then, don't expect state of the art facilities.

Booked for this Hotel months before. Asked in writing and in person at front desk months before staying that I needed a room on level 12 or 14 and overlooking the pool area because my husband has vertigo and will not be able to stay if higher. I asked if the level I asked for had the room type booked and was reassured that is the case and not to worry. On arrival we were told that we were on level 16. When asked about lower floors, I was told because of the room type booked that it was not possible. I told the reception staff about the room availability and level indicated above, was told that that’s how the rooms are allocated. What was the point of requesting it months before? I told them that my husband couldn’t stay because of his vertigo. We were then told there was a room on level 12 but would have to take a room downgrade with no compensation. When we got to the room, we were given a room that a view of the street which brought on my husband’s vertigo. The room was disgusting, very old, and not clean. Toilet bowl was yellow stained, shower/bathtub and sink dirty, shower head broken spraying water everywhere. Toilet roll holder not holding the toilet roll properly kept falling, toilet seat flimsy - not fitted properly and cheap. Bath tub floods when showering, not draining efficiently. Shower tiles black in grout area. Towel rails completely rusted. No spot to place suitcase, air conditioning not working (room hot and stuffy). Not a good start to our holiday, stressful

Great position
The hotel is right on Scarborough beach. There are lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance and a Coles supermarket. Only odd thing is that the balconies do not have any furniture on them!

Was in a very good spot with plenty of dinning out places to eat, easy access to the city with public transport outside the hotel.

Amazing views
Great location. Amazing views. Disappointed that Sports channel was not there on TV. Could not watch World Cup match. The person at the reception at the time of check in was not veery friendly. Hardly smiled. Had to remind the cleaner to clean the room in the evening.
