“The best hotel we have ever stayed in. Cromlix is situated in a lovely setting, each room in the house has been tastefully decorated and dressed. All the staff are so friendly and welcoming and put you at ease from the very beginning. The food options are a step above for evening dining and at breakfast. Could not fault it a superb stay that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. ”

“We chose to stay hear because it was our dream on this backpacking trip to stay in a castle. The castle is beautiful, warm, with the wood fireplace burning. I will say that for a very old property they keep it extremely unkept. It is of older charm, so keep that in mind (older carpets, less electrical plugs). The food , staff, and the stay was amazing, I only wish we weren’t backpacking so we could’ve stayed longer. One thing to note are that the parking situation threw us off alittle because...

““I stayed at the Atholl Palace Hotel for two nights, and unfortunately, I was disappointed with several aspects. The water pressure in the bathroom was weak, making it uncomfortable to shower. The bed and other facilities were quite uncomfortable as well. There was no concierge service, which I found inconvenient. Apart from the nice views and the historical charm of staying near the castle, I didn’t find much value in the experience.””
