“Clean & tidy room. Plenty of parking. Friendly & helpful staff. Lovely breakfast. Didn’t actually use any of the facilities so can’t comment. Nice location with beautiful views”

“Property and grounds were excellent, beautiful. The rooms could do with a little modernization but I completely understand as the age and history of the building. I had a great time, easily accessible to town and the commons.”

“Lovely hotel set in beautiful grounds. Flower borders were just lovely! Room (twin deluxe) was spacious, comfortable and clean. One note, we were in room 216 which had view over cafe at back, which was really pretty so not a problem. However, deliveries started unloading at 6am in the morning which wasn't great. The hotel is so close to Beamish working museum, very handy. Few good pubs in the area too.”
