“Edwardian splendour Balcony needs attention and really good bathroom products are difficult to use in the shower as they don’t dispense properly which is a shame Would stay again as it’s a hotel with great character ”

“It was fantastic! Honestly I cannot fault it, the only thing I’d suggest is a thin mattress topper so that you can’t feel the buttons on the mattress. Staff were lovely, everything in the room you could want. I appreciated the little bottle of semi skimmed milk in the fridge, and bottles of water!”

“The accommodation is in an excellent position in Chichester with a public car park close by. Staff were friendly and the room was nicely furnished and clean”

“The Roundabout was a very charming hotel situated in a quiet and peaceful countryside in UK - very appealing for a relaxing family weekend or couple's romantic getaway. However it lacked safety notices which should have been imparted by the hotel staff to foreigners who are new to this kind of environment - for instance, I got burned by the openly exposed copper pipe which was piping hot located along the wall underneath the heater and there was no notice of caution on the public gentlemen...

“Have to say I was super impressed with this inn. First off, the rooms aren’t big but they are comfortable and the bathrooms are big for England. The bed linens were some of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on. Would come back for those alone but really the best part of the entire stay was the staff. Specifically David and Anja. They were incredibly nice, amazingly friendly and super helpful. Some of the hardest working people I’ve ever met. Thanks to both of you. Great place to base a tour...

“The staff were friendly and the pub was so convenient for walks for the dogs and for places to eat. The dogs were comfortable and happy and we had everything we needed.”

“The entire team at Swan Hotel was very friendly and engaged well with the guests. The restaurant was excellent for both breakfast and dinner. Our superior room was large, clean and very comfortable. The hotel was an easy 30 minute walk to Jane Austen’s home and Chawton. Would highly recommend the Swan Hotel for a stay in Alton.”

“The Swan is such a great place. I suspect those from the UK love it equally, however visiting from North America makes the experience even more unique and special. If I were to think of a quintessential English Inn & Pub…. This would be it. We loved having “a pint” outside in the backyard garden, we slept well in our clean room, the food was excellent and mostly…. The service fantastic. Highly recommend and will be back! ”
