This beautiful Burmese temple was just outside of Ban Thung Hong, Thailand. So unusual and so many different statues.
The Buddha more than 500 years old is named โ€œPhra Chao Saen Sukโ€. It is the principal Buddha of Wat Pong Sunan located in Phrae, Thailand. Once an abandoned temple call Wat Pong Sunak, in 1929 is was renovated and a new shrine hall built. It was renamed Wat Pong Sunan after Luang Phong Phibun and Chao Sunanta who supported the renovations. In the grounds outside is a large turtle, a multi-spired chedi and a reclining Buddha.
