“We loved this hotel and it perfectly fit our needs. We wanted to visit the Amalfi coast, but with a car, figured it would be a hassle to stay there. Instead, we stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, which had free parking, and made day trips to Amalfi. It was wonderful to return to the serenity of this hotel and the friendly staff at the end of some long days of Amalfi sightseeing. The drive to Amalfi is about 40 minutes and is on a very scenic road. ”

“Villa Elisa is a beautiful house in a fantastic town. It’s a perfect location if you plan to hike The Path of the Gods. It’s also a great location if you’re looking for a quiet town in the hills with great restaurants. An important point of clarification - in the property listing it states that it is 9 minute drive to Amalfi beach. This is not accurate. It is at least 30 minutes by bus and a taxi is about 90 euros. Also, both times we tried to take the bus from Agerola to Amalfi, it was...

“This was a really lovely guest / farmhouse experience. The room was clean and tidy and perfectly suited for our need of day-tripping the Amalfi region with a car. The grounds were delightful with lots of produce being grown which was all used in the simple but wonderful breakfast that was served each day. Staff were lovely and we spoke several times with the owner and got lots of good advice for seeing the region. Make sure to say hello to the tortoise!”

“Manuela was a wonderful host! The property itself was beautiful and the views were worth staying that high up in the mountains. Takes about an hour to get to Amalfi by bus (always crowded, don't be surprised if you have to travel standing) but the property itself is a respite from the crowds and the heat down on the coast. Loved my stay here! ”
