“The host was wonderful and the inn was charming”

“I want to start with the positive. The room was large, very clean, the beds comfy and there was a/c, fridge and tv. The stay had what we needed and there were water views. However, there were no staff. Our key was stuck to a door with a message saying there was no breakfast so we’d be given a discount. “The man who operates the Inn was very unpleasant and unkind to me and my wife. The establishment is quaint and in a good location, but those qualities do not compensate for his rudeness. I regret that we didn't stay elsewhere.”

“We had a two bedroom cabin. A few mismatched glasses plates and silverware. The plastic window curtains need cleaning. The fridge freezer was not useable because it needs to be defrosted. The beds were clean and comfortable. The cabins and grounds are older and quite run down. Despite all of this we were satisfied for what we needed. Cleanliness is important”

“Great place to spend the night as we were passing through on a road trip. The bathroom of our suite exceeded our expectations and the rest of the room met our expectations for this type of accommodation. The self serve breakfast was very helpful getting our day started.”
