"Rooms didn’t smell good and showers didn’t look that clean so bring sandals for the shower. No iron, no blow dryer, no sheer curtains to allow daylight in without people seeing in. Just a place to rest your head at night but not made for comfort. "

"Always enjoy staying here, nice lobby with coffee/drinks quiet room and love the beds here. Tried the cafe upstairs for an easy dinner of hamburgers and they were quite good. Parking is a bit tight for a full size truck but doable and not uncommon in the SB area."

"Great place. Clear room, quick check-in, and friendly staff. Only thing was the balcony light could not be turned off, while the curtains were fine this sould be an option."

"Excellent place to stay! Pool by the sea, with access to a beach full of mussel Shoals. With so many amenities offered like wifi, smart view tv connection to use your phone to watch movies or listen to music on tv, to free breakfast, extra clean rooms, extra roll of toilet, hair dryer, lots of storage room and clothes hangers, cozy blankets and comfortable pillows.They have a Restaurant on the lower level by the pool and beach that offers delicious, fresh food! This hotel offers clean, comfortable rooms with beautiful views of the ocean. Worth every penny spent on my stay here! Amazing views and wave sounds all night! Nothing but peace and tranquility!"

"Beach view was extraordinary. We couldn't have been closer than if we camped on the sand. The weather was perfect the entire stay added to a nearly perfect few days away. We went and saw a lot and after a visit to the Ojai used bookstore we spent a lot of time reading on the patio deck, watching the gulls, waves and beachgoers. Never made it to the national or state parks. To much to do for a first visit to Ventura and Ojai. "

"It is an old building and not attractive. One elevator was broken so it took a very long time for an elevator. There were very few carts for luggage. It was in a great location right on the boardwalk to beach. It was also just a few blocks from the shops and restaurants downtown.We had a beautiful view. The cost for valet parking was $75 per night. "
