The views from this hotel are spectacular and other worldly, both in the daytime and at night. The front desk receptionist is a very nice guy, friendly and reasonable. The rooms are neat, clean and tidy. However many many problems:1. Electricity and wifi went out for 6 hours in the daytime with no back up generator 2. Leaky faucet in bathroom. 3. Worn polyurethane shower stall looks like it came from a 1960s housing project 4. No air conditioning 5. Heater is noisy and archaic. 6. Drinking water is locked up two staircases down 7.Very crowded, noisy and packed full restaurant on weekends. 8. Dinner in restaurant is not vegetarian/vegan friendly as advertised, only rice or pasta, 9.No nearby restaurants, grub hub won't deliver there, and I had to drive a long distance for every meal. 9. No beach or place to walk unless you want to walk on the concrete unshaded bicycle path. 10. Narrow parking stalls and lot was full when arrived. 12. Noisy heater. 12. Restaurant has very limited hours, and there is not even a vending machine with snacks to tide one over between driving trips. 13. Toilet ran on and I had to lift the lid to get it to stop running. Overall I think your best option for the view is to come to eat lunch at the restaurant on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday, or to come stay over in the Hotel on Monday afternoon and bring enough food for 48 hours. Bring your own coffeemaker, food supplies, power bank and hotspot.
