The room was pretty clean and the staff was helpful. The motel was busy and well booked so it felt safe. The hotel is located near the highway. I was on the 3rd floor facing the pool. You could still hear the highway noise quite a bit, but after the first night I got used to it. I realize it's mostly psychological, because most people can sleep inside of a moving car on a noisy highway but have trouble sleeping when they hear the slightest noise. I just pretended the highway noise was a good background to lull me to sleep and it worked.

A/C heater system had a smell when turned on. Tried to open the window but is completely sealed off; therefore, could not open and is a safety concern. Vent in bathroom is covered in dust. If you plan to stay for more than one night, bring your own shampoo, conditioner, and body Other than that, room is nice and is probably still in the updating process from when it was once a Motel 6.
