The staff were excellent very caring and attentive. I would have liked a comfortable chair in my room. There were ants in the room but then there were ants everywhere we went.

When arrived there They said no rooms available inspite having confirmed booking from Expedia for 4 rooms. Not sure if it was expedia screw up or the hotel

Pilar is amazing the people are so friendly. The Island is still mostly unspoiled however the natives are poor they don't dispose of garbage properly so you see amazing beautiful trees and wild landscape with a patina of trash it is a shame really.
