“River crest is a lovely comfortable well equipped cottage with everything we needed for our weeks stay. It was clean and has a good shower. The bed was cosy and comfortable. The best thing is the view across looe and out to sea. Looe is a very nice place to stay with good shops and pubs. It is handy for a number of national trust properties. “Absolutely beautiful place, beautiful location I cant fault anything. Pub and local store in easy walking distance. Just be aware no local public transportation except taxi which have limited availability. Wasnt a big issue but if you want to go into Plymouth it was £25 each way to the train station with one train an hour. We brought our telescope but unfortunately had cloud cover but would be a perfect location for evening of star gazing ”

“The property was easily found by using a Sat Nav. The property inside and outside was very clean. There is a narrow gravel drive up to the property so Parking was in the village square which was a short walk around the outside of the pub, so not recommended for disabled as there is also steps up to the entrance door. The entrance was a wooden decking which had a range of colorful potted plants and well maintained. The owner was very helpful with directions and places to visit and eat...
