"We stayed at a one bedroom apartment facing east. This unit was on the 23rd floor and though it was high from the ground the noise of the city was loud. For a moment I felt I was in New York as the near by Atahualpa Stadium was testing the sound for a local concert. The other thing I noticed was that it gets hot in the morning if you don’t lower the window treatments. And one minus was that there is no dryer in the unit. "Beautiful building in a great neighborhood. Park Carolina was just a couple of blocks away. I did think the lounge in the penthouse was over price and the food was less than great. To be clear the lounge is not run by the hotel, so the can’t be held accountable. I did not get a chance to eat in the hotel restaurants in the lobby. The only thing I did not like is the fact that getting to the rooftop pool was a bit awkward. You have to be escorted. They need to fix how you gain access to the pool. Everything else was excellent. I would rate it ‘wonderful’ "
