Fabulous stay

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful, breakfast was lovely. Fabulous location with a short walk into Volterra (10/15 mins), beautiful views from the pool and our room, lots of parking. The pool was amazing, with a separate shallow childrens pool and delicious cocktails at the bar. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to Tuscany, we didn’t want to leave!

Dates and stuffy. The property overall needs some serious remodeling. Good breakfast and very close to city center. I did not try the pool because it did not look inviting. Room was a trip back to the seventies, something between an old convent and a pilgrimage place.

En varm upp - levelse

Volterra är en trevlig stad mycket vackert belägen i Toscana. Hotellet är bra men börjar kanske bli lite slitet. Mkt trevlig personal. Vägen upp till stadskärnan är 1,5 km lång och Mycket brant. En rejäl fysisk träning i 30 - 36 graders värme.

The lady at the front reception desk was very friendly, helpful and made us feel welcome. We had a room on the third floor where the AC did not work properly and she changed us the next day to one that was nice and cool. The people at the restaurant were very inhospitable… most unfriendly group we met in our 5 week visit throughout Italy, except for one young male individual. Wish I got his name to give him praise for his smiles. Friendliness and cleanliness are foremost to our desires in hotels, so will not be staying there again.

Zeer goede ligging, leuke buurt en ideale uitvalsbasis om het bredere Toscane te verkennen. Volterra is een leuk stadje met leuke restaurantjes waar je waar voor je geld krijgt. Het personeel in het hotel is zeer correct en super vriendelijk, geen gespeelde vriendelijkheid. Wij hebben ons er zeer goed gevoeld, kan het aan iedereen aanbevelen.
