“The location was central to the train station , many restaurants and only 30 minutes walk to the Casbah. The staff were excellent, super helpful and always on hand to help. The bar downstairs was friendly, with great service and well priced. The breakfast was very good, continental style with lovely coffee. Newly (literally within the last few weeks) renovated with an intelligent interior design, this hotel is well located in the heart of authentic Algiers, several minutes walk from the first/last metro station. The room contained a TV, wardrobe, desk and refrigerator alongside a balcony view of the sea and park. “J’ai beaucoup apprécié mon séjour au Marhaba Casbah. L’hôtel est neuf, très propre et les rénovations ont été réalisées avec goût. Son emplacement est un vrai coup de cœur : juste en face de la magnifique Mosquée Ketchaoua et en plein cœur de la Casbah. C’est un plaisir de pouvoir sortir et se retrouver immédiatement plongé dans l’histoire d’Alger. Le personnel a également été très accueillant et toujours prêt à aider. “The hotel is in the city center, but not quiet calm because it's located next to a very busy and crowded road. The staff are nice people, the hotel doesn't have an elevator, the room seems to be clean but there are lot of smells, bad ones.”
