"We had an amazing 3-night stay at this resort. The views were absolutely breathtaking.
The food exceeded our expectations. Every meal was delicious, with fresh ingredients and great variety.
What made our stay even more special was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. Their warm hospitality made us feel truly relaxed and well taken care of.
We had a wonderful experience and would definitely love to come back in the future. Highly recommended!"
"Newly updated room and bathroom with access to an outside kitchen area. The room itself was clean and comfortable and the shower was really nice. Walking distance from a fantastic restaurant (Ixora) and a long walk/short bicycle ride from downtown.
The couple that owns the place are attentive, warm and welcoming. They were eager to make sure we had what we needed and let us use their bicycles to explore. Wonderful people."
"was charming...a perfect word. Right on water, nice breeze, good air-conditioning and the staff was just lovely. Not much to do on site....simming marginal off pier but again staff made the experience lovely."
"We enjoyed the place very much. Guy and Diane are very nice, courteous and accommodating.
Remember this is not a hotel; it’s rather like an Airbnb and the hosts are staying at the connecting quarter during the time of your stay. During your stay, you would basically have the main house to yourself. We, a couple of 2 from CA, stayed for 4 nights here during the first leg of our 2 weeks trips in a 4 islands hoping in Tahiti. At first we were a little surprised because we expected to check into a hotel, but then realized we are entering someone’s house, but during the stay we feel at ease and learn to like the place a lot.
We drove here with a rental car from the airport; Guy helped us arranged a car rental and the agency met us at the airport to drop off the car. The price is better than reservation made online through Orbitz or car rental companies directly. Google map directed us there without a problem. You park in the grass area of the front yard.
WiFi is very fast. We have T-Mobile cellular so we use our allotted data when WiFi is not available.
We paid for our stay directly to hotel.com during booking and paid Guy the tax and breakfast. I would say it’s better to buy whatever you want at the markets and make your own breakfast which is more to your liking because the breakfast provided is very basic! There are several supermarkets in town including super U and Carrefour. The fish are fresh and inexpensive and with the kitchen, that’s a plus. (Space limit)"
"We had a great stay at Havai'i lodge. It's a beautiful and quiet property in a cul-de-sac and the place is comfortable and clean. The kitchen is well equipped. It's shared with another room, but since we were out and about all day and only had our coffee and breakfast at the place, it wasn't a problem. We recommend having a car on Raiatea as it's much easier to get around this beautiful island. The host helped arrange a car for us, which was nice."
"This is an absolute haven of tranquility and you don’t expect a lodge like that while driving down the East coast of Raiatea. The garden is stunning and you can read about all the plants. By the small beach is a lily pond and the hillside is a jungle of the most amazing vegetation. I was greeted very warmly and shown around, there is a beautiful communal area with a kitchen that is fully stocked and then you have little spaces in and outside of the fridge for the things you buy for yourself. There are no meals offered, you have to prepare them yourself. "
Commune with nature and explore the great outdoors at Maroe Bay during your travels in Huahine. You can seek out the snorkeling spots while in the area.
