“The room was super old and filthy . The carpet was so dirty and stained . The table has the legs chewed up . It’s a friendly dog place but the room looked like that’s where they house all the dog visitors . It was so run down air conditioner kept turning off and on . I’ve stayed there before and didn’t get this old beat up room . Not sure if it’s because I booked with Expedia versus reservation straight through Lakehoise”

“Found pubes stuck to the shower curtain and the front staff left me outside for 10 minutes. I rung the doorbell, spoke to the front staff and they mumbled something and left me standing outside for 10 minutes. I finally rung again and they finally came out to let me in for a late night check in.”

“Checked in on 7/1 a little after 8pm. Had a truck and trailer parked in the back parking lot, out of everyone's way. Back lot was empty with only 4 cars. Was told by the hotel couldnt park there, those spots would be needed if the sell out ( keep in mind, 830pm on Wednesday night). Was told there is designated trailer parking at corner by In and Out. “Technically the room was clean. Staff was kind of rude. Front staff at check in started off rude and quickly tried to change her attitude after I identified myself as a travel agent. However, everyone but the maintenance guy was rude and seemed to hate this job. We had maintenance because the TV didn't work. The shower couldn't regulate between hot or cold but continuously flipped between one extreme or the other. The linoleum floor wasn't even attached in the bathroom and you could see where...

“This is in a terrible location with a large homeless population and a lot of drug usage. The door didn’t fully seal closed, the room was dirty, the beds were terrible, but mostly we just did not feel safe or feel that our vehicle was safe while parked overnight. Do NOT bring your family here.”

“Came here for a little weekend getaway with my wife. Room was very clean and exceeded our expectations. Staff was very helpful and friendly when checking in. Locations is very close to everything you’d need. About 5-10 min from nice beaches and about 20-25 min from Downtown SD. Didn’t get to try out the breakfast provided or the pool area. Overall a great experience and would book again.”
