"Nice layout and atmosphere; charming, well organized; seemed more authentically Mexican than the other resorts around it; our teenaged daughters loved it. WiFi could be better if you are concerned about it. Good beach access; secure; Overall a great experience."

"The main build has no direct access to the beach so we upgraded to the other building. Food was pretty bland and mostly the same every day in the buffet. The staff ask every time you are seated about allergies but do not offer to help figure out which foods are okay. My child is celiac and it was a struggle at every meal to figure out what he could eat. On our last day he became ill (most likely from accidental gluten exposure ). The beach was decent but jellyfish were present, which was a deterrent. The overall experience was just okay. We are not travellers that expect fancy, but we were very ready to leave after 7 days. "

"This is an old hotel but rooms are sparking clean and updated, yet retain their charm. Pool area is great. Food options wonderful esp the cerviche lunch place on the beach. Birds around the pool and breakfast buffet are a problem- what about a falcon? Staff wonderful, esp Jose at reception, the spa manager whose name I did not get, Angel at the italian resto. I hope to come back! Thank you! "

"We noticed the service and cleanliness of the room had declined substantially from last year. Its a shame as we enjoyed ourselves so much last year. We didn't have towels or soap in our room, items were not restocked when the room was cleaned, shower did not drain and was not fixed (we had to unclog it ourselves), and our room was full of small flies for the duration of the stay. The food remained the same and was good for an all inclusive. Pool area and public restrooms were clean."
