At the front desk was the owner, I believe. He was so nice and helpful. The room was great. Looking out at the Baltic Sea. No balcony just a small window but upstairs was a large rooftop terrace. Great place to I was able to leave my bags the next morning for a few hours while I explored the area.
We stayed 5 nights here and had an amazing stay! Alessio at the front desk was so so helpful and kind. He helped us check in late, got us reservations, set us up with some activities for a few days, and more. The property was in a great location and so clean. We will recommend to anyone!
The hotel was nicely kept snd the staff were very friendly and welcoming. It is s cute family ran location and you can feel the warmth. I would book this again the next time I return to this city.
Absolutely loved everything about our stay.
The staff stayed late to accommodate our arrival, room was beautiful and clean, breakfast had a good assortment of items, great yogurt, pastries. The staff at breakfast were wonderful, friendly and helpful.
Would absolutely stay again!
Alessio was the best host. Went above and beyond to accommodate. Secured us a great boat tour. Let us in late after we were delayed in getting there. (and missed emails totally on me). Great view from the room!! Rooms were SPOTLESS. Breakfast view from the terrace is great! Got us reservations for a fantastic restaurant. Directed us to a great shop in Alberabello where we met a Nonna who was so kind and told us of the trulli. We actually booked a second night while we were there! Highly recommended. 11/10 stars and rating. Best places to stay.
The location is perfect for a visit to Polignano a Mare. The rooftop breakfast terrace was fabulous and the hotel team was very welcoming. I recommend a sea view room with balcony and the tiramisu for breakfast. Paid parking is nearby.
We really enjoyed our stay at Malu! The staffs were friendly and accommodating. In addition to the perfect view from our room, the room and amenities were just like a high end hotel ! We were especially exhausted after the red eye flight, and Malu was the best place for us to rejuvenate and get well rested for the rest of our trip! The breakfast in the terrace is amazing!
Classy, understated, more like a small hotel. Stylish and well-kept rooms and great sea views. Staff are helpful and friendly. Breakfast is wonderful.
Easy walk from train station. Polignano is a gem.
Family run and so friendly and helpful! Lovely rooms. We stayed in both a balcony room
And non balcony. Both were lovely. Non balcony was bigger, but the view from the balcony was worth the smaller room!
From start to finish this place is perfect.
Pictures don’t do it justice, it’s immaculate both in decoration and cleanliness.
The owner is passionate and so helpful! He held our bags, gave us a tour and explained all the key areas on the map. Don’t stay anywhere else!
First of all: great location! New, clean… staff on site very friendly. Some notes:
Make sure if you have any advanced question / reserve parking (recommended) etc call the property directly, not the “manager”, that is an anonymous help line, of no use).
A few aspects that differ from other B&B: - no coffee/tea maker in the room. - internet was pretty bad (at least in our room), you can get some messages through, but I couldn’t get into vpn, not good enough for doing work. - breakfast not included in room price (was clear when booking). Just be aware. But the great location balances these downsides. Nice touch: a small bag of
Taralli as good bye present.
Finally: The address from the Expedia confirmation “ Via Cala Paura 10, Polignano a Mare” in GoogleMaps brought me to
a wrong location!! Use: https://maps.app.goo.gl/AhypMYGYe7Aj54JE7?g_st=com.microsoft.Office.Outlook.compose-shareextension

Disliked: Cleanliness
Has potential for improvement
Location was absolutely perfect, being walking distance from the old town. Alessio was very friendly and helpful at the front desk as well. HOWEVER, the walls in the room are paper thin and you will hear everything (from the hallway to your neighbours). The rooms are not actually thoroughly cleaned, rather your bed is made and towels are folded…that’s it! Lastly, at breakfast today the boiled eggs that were served were completely rotten (foul smelling and oddly colored). You cannot oder eggs od any other kind. Parking is not on premises. I was expecting a bit more :(
Family owned and operated. Location and view outstanding value for price. Loved the terrace open to us anytime and the included breakfast on the terrace, plentiful! We used the suggested parking lot a block away. Highly recommend this property.
If you can book this hotel, do so. Family owned and so friendly with home made wonderful breakfast served overlooking gorgeous ocean and cove. We stayed facing the street not ocean view, but location and great room so happy regardless. Highly recommend!
Incredible view of cliff divers. Roof-top terrace was accessible all day. Paolo was very helpful-he even drove us to the train station because no taxis were available.
